Yukon Airways Interrupted air mail flight cover November 24, 1927. The flight from Whitehorse, flown by Cruikshank, was forced down at Pelley Summit, halfway to Mayo. The plane was towed to Mayo & the mail was conveyed the rest of the way via DOG SLED. Dawson December 8, 1927 receiver on back. Scarce cover.

Copy of "The Whitehorse Star" newspaper flown by Yukon Airways on their April 13, 1928 first flight from Whitehorse to Atlin. Yukon Airways Stamp is tied by a Whitehorse CDS cancel. There is an Atlin receiver top left. There is also a postage paid handstamp in the left margin. Newspaper has been folded vertically in the middle. Right side has some minor tears & there is an approx. 2 inch tear at the horizontal fold at the right edge. Still very fine appearance.
