June 24, 1918 flight from Montreal to Toronto by Capt. Brian Beck, RAF in a Curtiss JN-4 "Canuk". The flight was scheduled for the 23rd., but due to weather, was flown on the 24th. The plane made stops for gas at Kingston & Desoronto. It reached Toronto at 4.55 p.m., after a flight of almost 6 hours. Covers were backstamped in Toronto the same day. A triangular cachet was applied in red. Cachet is faint, but easily read. Only 124 covers were flown. Catalogue value in "The Air Mails Of Canada & Newfoundland" US$2000.00. A great show piece. Minor tear at upper right.

Patricia Airways & Exploration cover from Red Lake to A C Roe ( Roessler ) in East Orange, New Jersey. Cover sent special delivery in Canada & by air mail in the USA, paid for the by the 10 cent US air mail stamp. Cover has part of back flap & a small piece of the front missing as well as some very small tears & creases. However, it is still a scarce item. Few semi-official air mail covers were sent special delivery.

Western Canada Airways cover from Snake Falls to Roessler in New Jersey, via Red Lake. Snake Falls was on the Hudson - Red Lake route, but was not a normal stopping place. Plane may have made an unscheduled stop for fuel or some other problem & the Post Master took the opportunity to get some mail on the plane. he had a long wait, as the Snake Falls cancel is dated AU 30, 1927 & the Red Lake CDS is JAN 4, 1928.
