June 24, 1918 flight from Montreal to Toronto by Capt. Brian Beck, RAF in a Curtiss JN-4 "Canuk". The flight was scheduled for the 23rd., but due to weather, was flown on the 24th. The plane made stops for gas at Kingston & Desoronto. It reached Toronto at 4.55 p.m., after a flight of almost 6 hours. Covers were backstamped in Toronto the same day. A triangular cachet was applied in red. Cachet is faint, but easily read. Only 124 covers were flown. Catalogue value in "The Air Mails Of Canada & Newfoundland" US$2000.00. A great show piece. Minor tear at upper right.

August 18, 1927 registered cover from Senneville, Quebec to Red Lake, Ontario via Rolling Portage, with air mail service paid for from Rolling Porage to Red Lake with Western Canada Airways stamp (Cat# CL40). Arrived at Red Lake August 23, 1927. After being held till August 25th, it was returned to sender, arriving back in Montreal September 3rd. Montreal is the return address city on back even though the cover was originally mailed in Senneville. A well travelled semi-official air mail cover that flew both ways for the price of one flight. Some minor crease that do not detract.
