By the time this cover made it to New Zealand all Clipper service had been cancelled due to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour. Cover probably sent by sea to either Panama or the US west coast and then on by air from there. Some minor tears and creases, but still and attractive military cover sent to an Australian Air Force pilot. Ottawa MPO NO.304 backstamp January 5, 1942.
