Charlottetown to Grindstone Island 1928 winter flight. Postmarked Charlottetown March 11th 1928 & with a Grindstone Island March 11, 1928 receiver on the back. A very scarce early flight cover. Mail was placed on the regular Moncton - Grindstone Island flight when it stopped in Charlottetown on March 11th.

Has a Moncton MR 3 1928 CDS on front from when it was placed on the March 3rd flight to Charlottetown, where it received a MR 3 1928 receiving CDS on the back. Probably flown on flight 2807b, the Sackville to Charlottetown leg.
