US cover flown on the "Century of Progress" flight that left Friedrichshafen on October 14, 1933. Cover was franked with the special 50 cent Zeppelin stamp, mailed at New York and sent to Germany by ship to be loaded onto the Graf Zeppelin. Cover was off loaded at Recife, Brazil and has an 18 October 1933 Recife receiver on the back. Cover has some minor tone spots.
